Title: Program Development Manager
Position Description:
The Program Development Manager is responsible for expanding the T1L1 program into new
sites and increasing community exposure to the Teach One to Lead One ® (T1L1) mission
through relationship building and public speaking engagements.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Expand the number of students engaged in the T1L1 Experience by effectively presenting
the program to decision-makers at institutions and entities and securing signed
Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
2. Conduct research to identify new areas suitable for T1L1 implementation, and establish
connections with community champions in these areas to facilitate program introduction.
3. Collaborate with the T1L1 marketing team to implement lead generation strategies for
new program areas.
4. Maintain active involvement with the Program Team to stay informed about T1L1
program developments.
5. Manage area program coordinator(s) to consistently deliver an effective T1L1 Experience
to students.
Position Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
2. Demonstrated success in sales with a proven record of meeting or surpassing targets.
3. Proficiency in desktop and mobile technologies, including Google Suite and common
CRM platforms.
4. Dedication to Teach One to Lead One's vision, mission, Core Values, and the T1L1
Experience.
5. Attainment of Youth Development Professional™ (YDP) Certification.
6. Flexibility to travel as needed for presentations and events.
Position Essential Skills:
1. Proficiency in nurturing high-level relationships with strong communication and
presentation skills.
2. Effective in conducting research to identify new areas and partners.
3. Skilled in networking within relevant circles and proficient at initiating and sustaining
community partnerships.
4. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the impact of marketing on sales.
5. Proficient in the creation and maintenance of prospect lists.
Program Sales Manager
Performance Targets: Individuals in this position will receive specific annual targets and
quarterly projections. Compensation will be commensurate with targets and performance.
Annual Targets:
1. Secure 750 new in-person or remote students annually to participate in the T1L1
Experience.
2. Secure MOUs for the T1L1 Experience to be implemented in four new areas annually.
Target Performance Evaluation:
1. Compensation is tied to achieving specific goals, which will be assessed at the end of
each calendar quarter. Meeting the projected targets for each quarter is crucial.
2. If a quarterly target is not met, it will be necessary to reach the combined target for two
quarters by the end of the following quarter.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
