IT Support Tech
TeamLogic IT Niles is currently seeking a IT Support Tech. This role is great for someone looking to get into IT. Team Logic IT Niles offers training programs and room for growth.

This is a 100 percent on-site job support one or multiple Team Logic IT Niles Customers
OVERVIEW:
We have an immediate opening for a Field Support Technician to support the repair and configuration of laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, iPad and other electronic devices. This individual will help install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. If you’re computer-savvy and enjoy supporting end users, we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate customer service and increase client satisfaction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
- Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
- Provide in and out of warranty hardware and software break/fix activities on a variety of computing hardware, including but not limited to system board swaps, display panel swaps, RAM upgrades, Hard drive replacement, and operating system reloads via standard image, and BIOS upgrades, Firmware etc.
- Onboard and Offboard employees and Consultants as needed
- Adjust Permissions to SharePoint libraries as needed
- Ability to handle small projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot typical applications such as Windows 10/11, Chromebook OS, Apple OS, Office 365 and other software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues in a LAN/WAN environment with wired and wireless connections
- Perform installs, moves, adds and changes (IMACs)
- Troubleshoot printing issues for local and network printers
- Follow proper disposal procedures and policies.
- Identify needed parts to support completing repairs and manage parts inventory
- Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
- Clearly document technical issues, troubleshooting steps and solutions in our ticketing system
- Support teammates by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and assisting with follow-up tasks
- Other tasks as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Chromebook/Mac OS environments
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Friendly presence and helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with others or independent
- Strong organization skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift and move 60 lbs, (component or box)
Education:
- High School Diploma required
- Electronics or Computer Associates Degree preferred
