Job Description

Deliverables/Tasks:

1) Developing and reviewing Agile stories, utilizing an Agile SCRUM approach.
2) Executing business process improvements, assisting with gathering requirements from decision-makers, and ensuring best practices in quality assurance testing.
3) Documenting requirements and traceability in tools using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
4) Identifying the business process problems along with solutions for them.
5) Demonstrating innovations and improvements to business stakeholders, using these toolkits.
6) Quickly course correcting, re-prioritizing, and eliciting new information based on customer feedback.
7) Collaborating with and building a better understanding between development teams and clients.
8) Producing business-critical requirements through observation and trial and error methods.
9) Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, distilling high-level information into details, summarizing low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs.
10) Serving as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
11) Developing requirement specifications according to standard templates, using plain language.
12) Making recommendations about products and features that would support positive, secure, and efficient customer experiences.
13) Working with other team members to help outline team roadmaps and communicating these to internal stakeholders.
14) Providing assistance wherever needed.
15) Assisting with the business case planning, monitoring, eliciting, translation, and simplification of requirements to drive the design or review of test cases and/or processing change requests.
16) Assisting with the project’s scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
17) Working with developers, Subject Matter Experts, and other users to refine and deliver requirements in a timely manner.

 

Skills/Abilities:

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
2) A minimum of three (3) years of technical or business work experience.
3) A minimum of five (5) years of experience with rapid prototyping business flows.
4) A minimum of five (5) years of experience with documenting requirements/traceability using a holistic requirements management tool.
5) A minimum of five (5) years of system documentation experience.
6) A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Senior Digital Business Analyst, project management, or similar role.
7) Strong understanding of the problem space from the business perspective.
8) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs including, but not limited to: Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio.
9) Strong collaboration skills with the ability to lead, direct, and manage more junior staff.
10) Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills.
11) Strong documentation skills for creating End-to-End business scenarios for the development of test cases and execution of those test cases.
12) Strong industry relevant product management skills and a strong understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
13) Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
14) Strong knowledge of web applications, client server applications, legacy applications, and database concepts.
15) Strong project management skills including conceptualization, analysis, driving Alignment, planning resources, and managing milestones.
16) Experience with Agile/SCRUM, specifically in Story/Acceptance criteria development.
17) Knowledge of the interdependencies of key business processes, functions, and risks.
18) Experience using TFS to plan and organize tasks, workflows, and reports for the Agile Team members.
19) Extensive knowledge of the business domain, processes, and flow of the projects.
20) Deep technical knowledge and understanding of the business requirements.
