Lima USA is looking for its next People Manager to join our growing team! We are looking for someone with proven excellence in all HR functionals including but not limited to Mergers and Acquisitions, Payroll, HRIS, Project Management, Benefits Design, Performance, Talent and Succession, HR Strategy but also has the ability to communicate and have fun. Supports compensation, payroll, benefits, training, recruitment, onboarding etc. to determine improvements to be made and report to management. Designs and administers human resources policies and procedures. Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies. Oversees and establishes procedures for paperwork completion for functional area. May oversee sourcing and recruiting of approved positions including accurate documentation of hiring practices and onboarding. Manages current benefits trends to estimate impact on organization and tracks applicable benefits legislation. Researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers Lima USA benefit plans and programs to meet the organization's strategy. Provides reports to management regarding employee benefits data findings. In addition, provides recommendations of benefit programs to management working with a broker. Develops and/or administers any of the company's employee benefits programs. These benefits may include all or part of the following: vacation, holidays, sick leave, medical/dental coverage, long-term disability, group life and/or auto insurance, supplemental retirement programs, savings programs, pension programs, unemployment, and leaves of absence. Also may provide counseling to employees. Evaluates present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of benefit trends to ensure plans are competitive and current. Responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation of payroll via the payroll system. Reviews the computation of pay and ensures the company payroll policies are in accordance with the government regulations. Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks. May coordinate payroll with outside service provider. Maintains and updates employee information. Analyzes employee related data such as personal information, professional background and compensation matters. Also ensures company compliance program and supports/facilitates annual compliance audits both internal and externally. Ensures training assigned to team member population using learning platform. Plan and manage HR Systems testing, data conversion and data validation processes, in addition to working with Corporate and IT to manage and resolve HR application issues. Provides direction to HR Analysts and Corporate analysts for prioritizing urgent, critical and routine system defects. Must be a strong Subject Matter Expert and consultative resource to the organization regarding all aspects of Oracle HR applications. Reviews and verifies employee information is accurate within the human resources information system (HRIS). Assesses employee statistics and data findings. Assists in planning, developing and suggesting human resource management decisions and new processes to address staffing, productivity and training needs. Supports activities related to the integration of Lima USA acquisitions and leads special projects and initiatives. Manages performance and succession processes.
- Supports leadership in merge and acquisition related to HR workstreams for TechMah acquisition
- Leads digital transformation of HRMS in payroll (ADP), timekeeping, Core HRMS (Oracle), ATS
- Annual update of the Affirmative Action Plan
- Leads projects and HR strategic initiatives such as employee recognition and total rewards
- Supports talent acquisition processes from sourcing, hiring to onboarding activities
- Manages action plan related to culture survey and driving engagement
- Maintains HR compliance and company compliance activities
- Supports or leads the implementation of Oracle HCM – Fusion (all modules) with emphasis on Core, Self Service, Performance across Lima USA and TechMah Medical
- Leads, manages and communicates benefits program by making annual recommendations, working with vendor, negotiating costs, services and rollout of of annual benefits
- Communicates updates on policies and creation of new innovative policies
- Support annual and mid year performance management processes
- Respond to team member inquiries related to payroll, benefits and employee relations
- Administer training and development to employee population
- Update and maintain Oracle HCM initiate and approve transactions, administrator of system
- Help to facilitate annual compliance and/or HR audits both internally and externally
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
- People leader experience (Preferred)
- Direct experience in Oracle configuration and administration
- At least 4 years talent acquisition experience and knowledgeable in OFFCP compliance
- Familiar with federal, state and local employment laws.
- Direct experience in benefits design and administration
- Direct experience in Payroll (ADP/Payroll Partners or other) - Implementation experience highly desired
- Familiar with Shared Services model
- Satisfactory references from employers, supervisors, and/or professional peers
- Satisfactory pre-employment screening results, including but not limited to criminal background screenings and drug screening results.
