Technica LLC is accepting applications for the Third Party Logistics Project Manager position located at Corpus Christi, TX. This listing is for potential upcoming job openings upon award of contract with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Services. The positions being advertised will be contingent for hire upon Technica's contract award.
Position Summary:
The Third-Party Logistics Project Manager will plan and execute specific Supply Chain Management functions, DOD logistics policies and initiatives, and perform financial management procedures.
- Manage and oversee overall supply chain operations including purchasing and inventory of HM, as well as selection of vendors
- Evaluate historical procurement data to forecast needs and production levels
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of the operations
- Ensure that issues regarding new/existing products are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner
- Interact with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met
- Plans and directs all aspects of the Contractors supply chain policies, objectives, and initiatives
- Oversee the Contractors inventory, warehousing, distribution, and transportation functions
- Act on behalf of the PM in their absence
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years experience in the field of CMS management and end-to-end supply chain management
- Minimum of five years experience with environmental program management
- Minimum of three years experience using a HM Tracking System equivalent to HMIDS
- Possess experience and familiarity with commercial sourcing and inventory management procedures commensurate with the requirements of the contract
- Experience required is preferably in conducting various supply procurement, logistics and or analysis, studies, and project management tasks
- US Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
- Valid state driver's license
