Position Purpose:
• This Position will have a heavy focus on managing our On-Time Delivery reporting. Regularly reviewing shipped lines to identify issues, target areas for improvement, and communicating trends. Will be expected to create sustainable OTD Power BI reporting structure.
• The Planning Intern may have a combination of responsibilities that include Project Work and Daily Operational tasks. The intern will receive a comprehensive introduction to planning activities, and basic a basic introduction into production and purchasing activities. This Intern will provide additional manpower in the department for data compilation and analysis. The position can also provide tactical support to the team, as needed.
• Will need to work with personnel within the materials group. Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory.
• General supervision. Specific descriptions of Projects and tasks will be given, the Planning Intern will then be expected to create reports and execute tasks asking for additional clarification as required.
Position Requirements:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
• Ability to conduct research, analyze data and relay findings
• Demonstrates attention to detail.
• Effective communication in both verbal and written form. Communicates information to and seeks
• information from the right people in performing job responsibilities. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of SAP or MRP is a plus
• Basic Safety and Quality training
• Office environment, frequent sitting, and operating computer. Frequent walking and standing.
