Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive individual with a robust background in managing various infrastructure projects, including datacenter migrations and planning, VMware, and physical migrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading projects from conception through completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within the stipulated time and budget. The position is based in the Phoenix area and offers a hybrid work schedule to promote work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage infrastructure projects, including datacenter migrations, VMware, and physical (bare-metal) migrations/planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage innovation within the team.
Required Skillsets:
  • Proven experience in datacenter migrations/planning.
  • Proficient in VMware and physical (bare-metal) migrations/planning.
Preferred Skillsets:
  • Experience in application migrations/planning.
  • Knowledge of storage and/or network migrations.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse or database migrations.
  • Understanding of datacenter power planning.
  • Competence in datacenter cable management.
Minimum Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure project management or a related field.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.
