The opportunity
The Sales Staff Writer role at TechnologyAdvice is for our online publication Fit Small Business. This person creates high-quality, authoritative content directed toward small business owners and sales professionals with a focus on customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, sales management tools and strategies, and customer service.

What you'll do
- Write publishable first drafts of 2-3 new articles each week
- Consistently meet deadlines with articles of the highest quality
- Demonstrate expertise in the field of sales and customer service
- Become familiar with CRM platforms, how to use them, and who each type is best for
- Learn how to ideate future articles in the field of expertise, working with the Director of Content on a content calendar
- Learn how to do keyword research
- Work with SEO Marketing and Business Development to connect the work of those teams to the content
- Begin working on bigger content projects, (such as ebooks, case studies, etc) offering expertise
- Collaborate with SEO marketing to increase visibility on the topics
- Attend conferences, and panels as an expert in sales for small business
Who you are
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
- 2 years minimum experience in sales management and using CRM platforms
- Subject matter expertise in sales and customer service
- Enjoy writing and can demonstrate writing proficiency on a test article and/or a current portfolio
- Collaborative and enjoy working with multiple team members
- Basic understanding of SEO
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time to meet deadlines
- Open to feedback and strive to learn something new every day
- Passionate about delivering the best answers to people's questions
- Comfortable working in an environment where things change quickly
- Sales Management, CRM platform, Customer Service experience: 2 years Preferred
- Online article writing: 1 year Preferred
