As a Business System Analyst, you will bring in a blend of Data Science/Machine Learning knowledge and business analysis (requirements gathering and documentation). As a Business System Analyst, you predominantly will work within the Data Science practice and should be able to analyse the data, do EDA, find any data anomalies, and inconsistencies, validate the data stats, and able to bridge the gaps of understanding between the technical team and the client business. In short, this is a great techno-functional role opportunity that will cater to the best of both worlds. One who can champion the data analytics initiatives, make them a success for the business teams, and have the acumen of dealing with functional team members and technical delivery team.
What We are Looking For:
Looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst with an extensive background in delivering scalable and robust enterprise integration, data warehouse, and business intelligence solutions. You will be working on Business Intelligence and Analytics team delivering mission-critical projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Understand and document technical requirements related to Data Warehousing (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) projects, write user stories, review existing business process documentation, and update as needed.
• Trouble shooting customer escalations and partnering with BI/DW Engineering and other teams as needed for resolution.
• Function as a technical resource for data warehousing development and analytics projects using Oracle analytics and cloud infrastructure technology.
• Analyze data contained in the corporate databases and identified data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions.
• Produce technical documentation for new and existing BI/DW applications. Examine and evaluate current BI/DW systems, identify technical requirements, and document interfaces between BI/DW systems and other applications.
• Conduct and communicate impact analysis for existing and proposed analytics, reports, data models, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and developers to produce specifications for new BI/DW systems.
• Ensure deadline and budget requirements are met.
• Stay up to date with current BI/DW technologies and technical developments.
Qualifications:
• 5 years of Strong Database knowledge and skills.
• 5 years of Strong Business Intelligence skills.
• Expertise with Oracle SQL*Plus, Pl/SQL, Oracle cloud platform, and tools would be beneficial.
• 5 years of Experience with Logical and Physical Data Modelling for DW/BI applications.
• 4 years of Experience working in Agile env like Kanban/Scrum.
• 5 years of Experience creating technical stories for the platform or tools using JIRA.
• Ability to manage and balance multiple deliverables concurrently in an environment with shifting priorities.
Salary : $50 - $65
