Job Description :
The Land, Buildings and Real Estate Business Unit is looking for a Groundkeeper to perform routine maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas, including landscapes, gardens, and lawns
- Mow, fertilize, and water lawns, shrubbery, ground cover, flowering plants and trees
- Prepare beds for planting
- Remove leaves and rubbish from grounds
- Spray herbicides as trained and directed
- Weed small areas
- In a training capacity, and / or under close supervision, cultivate, prune, plant, transplant, fertilize, and water shrubbery, ground cover, flowering plants, and trees
- May operate walking power mowers or other non-mobile power equipment
- Adhere to safety rules
Requirements :
- Demonstrated strong communications skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to understand and follow job-related instructions given in English, either verbally or in writing.
- Basic computer skills(e-mail / Calendaring) and use of smartphones.
- Valid California Non-commercial Class C license.(optional)
- Horticultural industry-related certification is preferred.
- Basic horticultural knowledge.
- MUST HAVE CA DRIVERS LICENSE
