Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and process Payroll. Manage the process of Accounts Payable. Prepare and enter journal entries for month end and in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain the fixed assets and associated depreciation schedules and ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposals. Manage employee credit card charges and expense reporting. Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliation, including fixed assets, employer's benefit costs, accruals, and prepaid expenses. Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks - quite often on short notice. Submit agency reports as directed. File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies. Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures. Year-end Audit review and support.
Requirements: 5 years of experience OR bachelor's degree in finance or accounting plus 2-3 years of experience 3-4 years of office experience with financial-related duties Competent knowledge of account principles, US GAAP Knowledge of Acumatica, Bill.com, SAP Concur is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft 365, (excel, word, teams, outlook) Strong math skill, with the ability to analyze figures. Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and organize efficiently and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of management. Detail oriented.
