Job Description

The Business Operations Manager supports the mission of the company by providing oversight and direction on divisional strategic planning initiatives, and ongoing tracking and reporting.
- Oversees team development initiatives and other division wide events to ensure there is consistent preparation and efficiency on all events.
- This role proactively helps the division leadership team by providing leadership team members with support to help them be consistent on a variety of topics that affect their teams, which may include training requirements and offerings, personnel matters at the team level, or position level if appropriate, and documented processes for consistency and efficiency on a wide variety of topics.
- This role manages the Business Operations Team which includes a team of professional administrative specialists.
- This team is responsible for developing and documenting processes in partnership with the subject matter experts, developing and document protocols and training to ensure consistent performance and application of processes throughout the division.
- This role must have excellent communication skills and be continuously proactive in assessing the overall divisions needs and goals; and leveraging new and ongoing professional relationships to know who to include in the discussion and decision making to ensure robust conversations and successful implementation.

Manages and leads the Business Operations team, leveraging leadership expertise combined with critical thinking and the curiosity to overcome challenges through process improvement, guidance, and mentorship.
Responsibilities

Ensure proper onboarding and off boarding processes are documented and adhered to, through the Business Operations team, to ensure state staff and contractors have receive information necessary to be effective contributors or leaders.

Build and maintain trusted professional working relationship with Director of Operations and Project Management Office, and the leadership team to provide support across the program, while also being in alignment with the Director of OPM and the Leadership Team.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders within divisions to generate appropriate and transparent levels of awareness and support with shared services divisions including Information Technology, Records Management, Data Privacy, Human resources, Finance, IT, Budget, and Legal and Contracts; to support the Leadership team members as appropriate.
