- Assembles, analyzes and processes patient records to ensure timeliness, accuracy and completion by medical staff within 3 days of discharge - Scans, indexes and/or files paper and/or electronic medical record - Performs release of information requests - physician and/or patients - Telephone coverage for the department as needed - Processes transcription of all records in que - Assist in preparing medical records for off-site storage and/or destruction - Maintain up to date files for medical and allied
