*Loss Mitigation Underwriter with large financial servicing company * Job Description The Underwriter is responsible for the underwriting of loss mitigation options for all workout types on all loan types. You will need to maintain and acquire any licensing requirements.
Essential Skills
* Compliance with established timelines and quality decisions for each file assigned
* Preferred to have underwriting experience
* Familiarity with mortgage documents
* Familiarity with financial documents
* Effective communication with customers
* Regular and punctual attendance
Must have recent experience working on Loss Mitigation Underwriting. Must be within the last two years.
Must have Loss Mitigation in the job title.
Must have experience working for a large serving compnay. If they have not worked for a large company, must have experience working on VA loans in their recent role.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment Remote. Will work EST hours. Mon - Fri, 8am-5pm.
