Medical Receptionist / Greeter's Needed in Appleton!
Description:
- As a Patient Service Representative, you will be tasked with the following job duties:
- Greet patients and families at the front desk
- Troubleshoot issues with patients coming in utilizing the new iPad system for check-in/screening
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, call on referrals
- Answer questions about appointments, insurance, and payments
- Assist with the smooth transfer of patients between departments
- Assist with administrative work such chart prepping, and and maintaining medical records
- Coordinate patient appointments and information flow between departments and outside organizations
Qualifications:
- Administrative background- Filing, scanning, data entry, scheduling, ideally prior experience in the healthcare industry
- Technical abilities- Adobe, PDF, Outlook, Excel (plug data). Converting things from PDF to an Email
- Working under a deadline without any monitoring
- Experience handling medical records, posting payments and insurance verification
Hours:
- 8am - 4:30pm M-F
