Job Description
Fosters collaboration between UX Designers and business-focused teams to ensure that intake is focused on business goals and that user needs are prioritized.
Creates and maintains the UX roadmap and backlog and communicates out throughout the organization.
Bridge the gap between research insights and tangible concepts. Contribute to the vision and strategy of interaction design principles across the enterprise.
Create and test interactive prototypes, document interaction guidelines, prioritize Minimum Viable Products (MVP) features/components and build a backlog.
Design wireframes, user flow diagrams and application maps.
Make sense of complex systems or large volumes of data and content and represent them in simplified models.
Refine concepts into meaningful narratives that speak to business opportunities, technical feasibility and organization set up.
Identify the right interaction patterns to apply in each context.
Collaborate fluidly with visual designers and developers of a team, project, or deliverable, with the audience and communication objective in mind.
Understand the goals, business requirements and constraints for the project. Help to translate business requirements into user stories.
Define and prioritize opportunity areas and then translating them into concepts.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors Degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related design or behavioral science discipline or equivalent related experience.
• 4 years of relevant industry experience required.
• Highly developed digital design skills, demonstrated in portfolio of recent work
required;
• Experience using Figma (especially components and libraries) and zeroheight
preferred;
• Experience working with reusable components, atomic design, or Design Systems
preferred;
• Experience working in a variety of organizations (start-up, corporate,
agency/consultancy) preferred;
• Experience with creating experiences for financial services preferred;
• Academic, professional, or life experience from outside the design field that enriches
perspective as a designer preferred;
• Experience collaborating in multifunctional teams preferred; and
• Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods preferred.
