About The Job:
- The Client is seeking a Service Technician to support ongoing installations in the Tri-State area.
- This role involves routine and emergency maintenance of mechanical and technological systems.
- On-call rotation is required.
- Ideal candidates are self-starters who excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments and enjoy problem-solving challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
- Inspect assembled equipment to ensure proper installation.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerances.
- Tune and troubleshoot equipment, diagnosing errors or technical problems.
- Assemble, align, repair, and install electromechanical equipment as per specifications.
- Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Operate systems to demonstrate equipment functionality and analyze malfunctions.
- Instruct and supervise workers in equipment testing, servicing, and repair.
- Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual operational problems.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Collaborate with technical teams and share information across the organization.
- Improve existing technical documentation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules and locations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to determine necessary tools and equipment for job scope.
- Independent work capability with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage service calls promptly while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Hands-on experience in preventative machinery maintenance using various tools.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Strong technical and mechanical background with solid troubleshooting skills.
- Electrical background is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.95 - $30.05 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
