Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Onsite break/fix support in both office and manufacturing environments (PC’s/multifunction printers/barcode scanners)
- Ongoing operational responsibilities for defined solutions
- Perform technical, administrative, and support work in the installation and operation of new and existing PC systems
- Execute defined client computing lifecycle processes
- Assist with support of business/sector specific infrastructure
- Assist with support and hands on activities of network and server infrastructure
- Troubleshoot, assist, and work with other IT team members to resolve user support issues
- Follow and promote defined ticket management procedures including the use of standard ticket management tools
- End-to-end asset management of clients including updating ServiceNow during every life cycle change event.
- This includes inventory best practices and disposal of assets
- Configure computers using bare metal image and Microsoft AutoPilot process
- Unboxing, configuring, installing software, scheduling with customers, transferring data, troubleshooting and fixing any issues during the refresh process
- Support software, patching, OS servicing, risk remediation, PCI requirements, and all other client deployments by resolving issues and ensure completion
- Training employees on using our company hardware and software upon request
- Assisting customers with Microsoft 365 email and Teams on Android and iOS
- Updating assets in ServiceNow to ensure accurate data
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in IT related field or equivalent years of experience in an IT career
- Broad technical IT knowledge and awareness of industry trends
- Operational Excellence - Root Cause Analysis, process, risk reduction, security and controls, change management
- Relationship management and conflict resolution management
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11)
- Microsoft Office Suite (2016/M365)
- Microsoft Software (SharePoint, Teams, Visio)
- PC Hardware troubleshooting (Dell)
- Printer Desktop/Multifunction (Xerox, Zebra)
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computer, application, peripheral, mobile device, and/or printer problems
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to follow documentation procedures
- Ability to demonstrate strong remote troubleshooting support skills
- Understanding of ServiceNow ticketing and asset management
- Must be able to lift and carry computers (approximately 50 lbs.), crawl into tight spaces (such as under desks), and climb ladders as needed to install hardware equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work as part of a virtual team
