Job Description:
MAJOR PURPOSE:
- Under minimal supervision, develops and authors advertising materials of moderate complexity for a global customer segment. Serves as primary contact with factory marketing to help lead and direct communication efforts for their assigned segment.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- With minimal supervision, provides advertising communications expertise; serves as day-to-day contact to initiate, develop, produce and deliver advertising jobs; develops, presents, revises advertising plans for approval.
- With minimal supervision, develops advertising campaign themes for approval and then writes copy, ensuring that copy meets style and quality standards.
- Gathers and reviews information on products and market segments from a variety of sources, including customer research, customer testimonials, dealer visits, and farm show visits.
- With minimal supervision, monitors and recommends advertising to effectively reach target customers.
- Determines media groups for ads to provide consistent messages while maximizing media budgets.
- Helps coordinate, attends and directs photo/film shoots to provide proper visual approaches consistent with the brand image and customer requirements.
Position Requirements
- Project Manager/key point of contact for assigned accounts. Maintaining relationships with the teams, and making sure expectations are upheld with the accounts.
- In tandem with Designer, support go-to-market teams, the written and updated pieces.
- 60-70% work is planned and 30-40% is unplanned.
- Responsible for concept thru completion working closely with the designer, delivering above expectations, within budget and on-time results.
- Focused on customer journey within owned media channels and writing copy for key assets (social, digital ads, web, product, brochures, etc)
- Preferred minimum bachelor's degree, and experience in golf space (not a deal breaker though), must provide examples of written stories
Experience writing for segmented audiences
- Writing for digital audience
- Being able to produce fully integrated story (based on consumer funnel, awareness, good understanding of consumer needs/expectations and write to that.
- Ability to write good strong customer-centric stories
