Job Description:
- Individual is experienced performing the Electrician activities listed below on their own with little to no guidance or assistance from a Skill Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment.
Electrician Activities
- Wire machinery from drawings and bill of material
- Wire panels
- Install communication blocks
- Wire Ethernet
- Wire auxiliary power
- Wire robots
- Wire safety circuits
- Wire 480V
- Tie in Tools/ Final dress of tools to controls
- Install temporary power
- Bend and install conduit
- Prepare tool with I/O block, Device Net and duct work
- Verify tags, tag units and cords
- Run cords and dress tool per customer requirements
- Ability to drill, tap and ream holes
- Use of hand saw, drill press and grinders
