The Opportunity

The Manager will be responsible for marketing analytics including campaign effectiveness, channel analysis, applying attribution analysis to marketing investments, dashboard creation and associated utilization results for the Marketing organization. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and strategic leader who possesses a solid understanding of marketing economic principles. S/he will partner with marketing, finance & data science to set campaign benchmark and targets and measure ROI of our marketing investments. In addition, the candidate will be expected to lead work on doing deep dives within consumer segments across the different services offered within our member base. S/he will be a trusted advisor who can thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone with a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills who has a proven track record collaborating across teams. The candidate must have the ability to analyze and synthesize data, glean insights and be able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders including senior leadership.
Spend and Invoice Management – Primarily responsible for managing the budget for the consumer marketing team. Attention to detail towards invoices, deploying spend strategically across marketing managers so that leadership can continuously optimize and have visibility into spend/investment.
Attribution Modeling – The candidate will work with Consumer Marketing leadership, Data Science, and other organizations to develop and enhance the attribution of marketing performance across all Consumer Marketing Channels, via multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling and other techniques that enable marketing decisions to be made at a source-by-source level, across marketing disciplines.
Converting Insights into Action – Working in collaboration across Consumer Marketing and the entire organization, develop and recommend initiatives that enhance Marketing performance by improving Return on Investment (ROI) and LTV. The candidate will develop sophisticated modeling tools using existing datasets and can work independently with Data Science to create new views.
Executive Reporting and Analysis – The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with executives including the SVP of Consumer Marketing and CMO, to provide modeling and analysis.
Campaign Reporting and Analytics – Lead campaign reporting and insights across marketing teams. This includes:
- Define and measure campaign metrics including creating benchmarks
- Analyze acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing performance & insights to drive profitable growth decisions
- Draw insights from campaign reporting and disseminate them to marketing teams as well as senior leadership with the right level of detail for each set of audience
- Monitor business goals against marketing efforts and suggest shifts in direction when necessary
- Proactively look at investigating shifts in consumer behavior and identify growth segments for both the marketing organization as well as the overall business.
- Liaison with Data Science, FP&A, Information Management and IT
Business Case Development – Working in collaboration with groups such as FP&A, data science, product and others, the candidate will develop business cases for new product and feature launches and the marketing investments required for those efforts to be successful.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred (in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Data Science)
- 5 Years related experience in marketing analytics, data science or a similarly quantitative field
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Campaign and analytics tools experience strongly preferred
- Curious about marketing initiatives and data; utilize data to drive insights
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively balance operational and strategic needs
- Excels at managing time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to move multiple projects forward in parallel for multiple stakeholders with minimal supervision
- Can confidently adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Has the ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision
- Intermediate SQL skills strongly preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $86,000 - $130,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
