As a Legal Counsel focussed on commercial matters, you will support TI worldwide.  You will continue to enhance our strong, collaborative relationship with our clients and expand our impact in the digital revolution.

In this role you will:

• Provide legal support on customer and supplier contracting matters for new opportunities and renewals, including drafting and advising on risk and contract interpretation, 

• Strengthen relationships with business representatives as well as internal TI stakeholders by cultivating an understanding of the business and providing proactive, solution-oriented advice

• Assist with the development and improvement of contracting templates

• Strive to continuously advance legal and business practices by driving new approaches and process improvements

• Be part of a high performing global legal services team

• Recognized for your legal skills, business acumen, initiative, creativity, learning-oriented mindset and collaborative style

• Confident at engaging and interacting with internal clients, customers and suppliers

• Noted for your ability to effectively communicate legal advice, both written and verbal

• Have a practical, business oriented style

• Able to successfully managing multiple concurrent transactions and delivering on commitments

• Called to the bar and admitted to practice in a jurisdiction in the U.S. or Canada for at least two years

• Experience in technology transactions and customer and supplier contracts 

• Business fluency in English 

• Willingness to work from home, with some opportunity to work from a TI site (depending on your location)

Great-to-haves

• International work experience

• Competence in French

Location:  Remote - US, Canada

Pay:

The base compensation range for this position is $92,000 - $115,000 USD (for the US candidates) annually commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
