What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Manager position at Temple VIllas?
Temple Villas Management has an immediate full time opening for a Leasing Manager
We are looking for someone to:
- Manage and oversee our leasing process, ensuring full occupancy of our buildings
- Obtain leads for our properties, conduct showings, and ultimately secure leases with prospective tenants. Following a sound and strong marketing strategy is crucial to this
- Ensure all payments relating to leases have been collected and that all leasing documentation has been correctly sent, signed and stored
- Oversee the tenant move-in/move-out process on an annual basis, coordinating with the maintenance crew to ensure apartments are ready to move into for the new batch of tenants. Involvement in the unit inspection and security deposit return process is expected
- Handle tenant dispute resolution
- As needed, coordinate with the maintenance crew to address incoming maintenance requests
- Be ready to wear many hats!
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a strong leasing or sales background
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have professional etiquette and workplace behavior
- Have strong foundational computer skills
- Be detail-oriented and have strong follow-through capabilities
- Be effective at multi-tasking and managing time-sensitive tasks
- Be able to properly follow directions and learn
Skills required:
- At least one (1) year of leasing experience, three (3) or more preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business or STEM field
- Docusign
- PropertyWare (or similar software)
- Familiarity with online marketing tools for rental housing (eg, rentcollegepads.com, Google AdSense etc.)
- SEO skills preferred
- Google Suites
