Underwriter – Omaha Area

Position Overview: As an Underwriter, you'll assess risk and provide essential insurance coverage to our customers.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Assess risk factors (e.g., Motor Vehicle Record, claims history, business type, experience).
• Provide quotes and address customer inquiries about coverage and pricing.
• Emphasize sales by comparing our quote to customers' current insurance.
• Utilize underwriting software for data management and documentation.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates preferred).
• 1 Years of Commercial Trucking Insurance experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, brokers, and colleagues.
• Exceptional organization and prioritization abilities.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
