What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snr HR Technology Specialist position at Tenneco?
The HR Technology Senior Specialist will work closely with the HR COE Leaders in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning to build and execute the enterprise strategy for SuccessFactors talent related modules, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Goals, Objectives, and Learning. You will provide direction and subject matter expertise to internal teams related to SuccessFactors talent and partner with others on projects in key responsibility areas. You should be familiar with talent acquisition HR business practices and the technologies supporting those activities, and will lead the analysis, design, maintenance and improvement of them as required. You’ll work with large amounts of data to draw conclusions and make recommendations to translate complex business needs into technology or process solutions. You’ll also research, resolve and proactively minimize issues, both independently and with internal stakeholders. You will be part of a team focused on enterprise HR Technology, reporting to the Senior HR Technology Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads and takes ownership to configure and maintain SuccessFactors talent modules, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Goals, Objectives, and Learning. Ensure that the individual modules align with and operate within the enterprise SuccessFactors system.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to defining requirements, configure, testing, and deploy solutions in SuccessFactors.
- Follow a standard process for work intake, prioritization, change control, and execution. Take ownership at each stage to minimize risk and ensure a successful launch.
- Monitor internal stakeholder and team activity, questions, and challenges to identify trends and work with leadership on opportunities for enhancements, documentation, clarification, and/or communications.
- Develop and maintain applicable reports, summarize findings via presentations in response to requests from the business.
- Understand complex HR business practices and technology and act as technology steward, ensuring adherence to governance standards, policy, and process, including data security and privacy requirements.
- Provide guidance and expertise to stakeholders, including leading HR system discussions with team members and vendor representatives to achieve desired expectations and goals
- Manage multiple projects, simultaneously, in partnership with business sponsors including the identification of scope, constraints, deliverables, timelines along with facilitating project tracking and status meetings.
- Provide support to end-users and serve as SuccessFactors Recruiting & Onboarding Named Support Contact for level 2 support
- Provide immediate assistance when application issues prevent timely completion of critical operations.
- Proactively identify, eliminate, or address issues and take corrective actions to ensure full resolution and issue closure.
- Effectively deliver online and in-person training and enablement as required to a global audience.
Experience:
- Experience with SuccessFactors, ideally with RMK and/or Onboarding 2.0
- Experience in Information Technology, HR Technology, ERP/HR applications, or digital design preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in SuccessFactors, or the ability to develop proficiency via hands-on experience and formal training
- Experience organizing and managing multiple competing urgent priorities
- Experience organizing self and manage time efficiently, made good decisions independently, meet commitments with little follow-up and proactively communicate status and action updates on responsible items
