Infusion Registered Nurse

Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) Summary:

We have excellent opportunities in part-time, per Diem, and contract assignments for experienced nurses to join a leading provider in home health care. We have current assignments to provide skilled care to patients who need gentle, caring, and experienced nurses to provide infusion care in the home. Currently, we have a client requesting weekends for a two day IVIG infusion every 4 weeks. The infusion is about 6-7 hours each day.

JOB SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attention to Detail: Use excellent nursing skills to observe, interpret and monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes, acting as the patient advocate
• Interpersonal Skills: Make it great by working collaboratively with an exceptional team to help meet positive client care outcomes
• Communication: Discuss health care with patients and listen to their concerns
• Skilled care: Deliver direct skilled client care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing in an open and positive manner
• Compassion: Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill with a passionate heart
• Compliance: Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws where we always do the right thing, do what we say and delivery consistently on our brand promise

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Current and unrestricted RN CA license
• At least 1 year experience as an RN, ideally with some home care experience
• At least 6 months experience in IVIG infusion therapy and venipuncture
• A bachelor's of science in nursing, an associate's degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program
• Current TB (within past year) and Physical (within past year)
• Current CPR
• Current California Driver’s License
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Reliable car / auto insurance
• Successfully pass annual competency checks
• Clean background and criminal record and must pass drug test
