ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to support the group in the field. As a Environmental Field Laborer, you will support the direct supervisor as well as project managers as required by specific project functions. This role is on a part-time basis to assist with the management and monitoring of two conservation easement properties within the watershed of the San Pedro River in Arizona
Job Functions:
- Plans and manages assigned tasks in order to complete on time, within budget, and with technical accuracy.
- Performs field and investigative work based on project requirements.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations and policies.
- Works safely during all phases of performing the job duties required in the field.
- Completes field documentation (i.e. safety, qc, et) as required by project functions in a timely and accurate manner
- Data collection and input.
- Provides oversight for subcontractors where appropriate.
- Transports of equipment to and from each project.
- Ability to perform work inside areas of varying dimensions, involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- No prior experience or knowledge required
- Some experience in manual labor preferred, but not required
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients
- Demonstrated effectiveness in building working relationships and interacting with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet multiple schedule deadlines
- Strong attention to detail.
