Our Construction Services Division is actively seeking a Construction Project Manager to support a project at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. As the Construction Project Manager, you will own and manage all aspects of the projects from the bid development to project completion including maintaining client relationships, schedules, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completion. In addition, you will collaborate with the Superintendent to develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked.
Additional responsibilities:

- Establish and be responsible for project schedule and budget
- Manage the project and its development from beginning to end
- Procure subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
- Maintain Client relationships
- Manage Superintendents and Quality Control Manager
- Update monthly financial progress, including estimate to/at complete forecast
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Cost estimating
- Tracks RFIs
- Evaluates Superintendents and Quality Control Managers
- Conduct procurement activities (buyout) of subcontractors
- Verify Superintendent’s 3-Week Look Ahead Schedule
- Update and maintain budget in Deltek
- Perform cost and risk analysis and provide recommendations to management
- Maintain open communication with field staff regarding all issues and work to resolutions
- Participate and lead estimating efforts for projects
- Assure that the estimates, including general conditions, are accurate, complete, and reflect the actual requirements of the project
- Lead estimate preparation for assigned projects - Responsible for overall estimate completeness/accuracy
- Direct and/or assist in preparation of project subcontractor/vendor list; update subcontractor/vendor database as necessary
- Direct and/or assist in identifying, cultivating and attracting new subcontractors and vendors; develop, maintain and enhance relationships; demonstrate knowledge of subs in various trades and regions
- Prepare Interested Bidders Memo - Communicate packaging, pricing breakdown, alternates, etc. to bidders
- Assist in the issue of bid invitations to subs / vendors - ensuring adequate bid coverage for each trade package (receipt of 3 bids minimum, 4 to 5 preferred); generate interest and get commitments on sub participation; obtain local participation to meet project needs
- Manage document distribution - Ensure complete inventory of documents; distribute plans, specifications and all other pertinent documents to subcontractors; ensure sub information needs are met
- Lead pre-bid conferences and/or perform jobsite visits, as required
- Verify subcontractor/vendor bonding capabilities and costs
- Prepare or delegate preparation of Requests for Information/Request for clarification from project Architect, Engineer, owner or owner’s authorized representative
- Analyze subcontractor and vendor bids - Verify proper and complete scope; establish consistency between bids to allow evaluation of apparent low bidder; coordinate scope with other trade packages
- Ensure that all work scope items from scope review are included in estimate
- Assemble detailed general conditions estimates for review with General Manager and other upper management staff
- Coordinate preparation and assembly of estimate presentation
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management and/or PMP certificate (preferred) or related field experience.
- 10 years of construction project management experience in new and vertical construction, and the design-build construction process
- A minimum of 2 years' experience specific to federal projects (preferred)
- Estimation experience required
- Capability of running multiple projects simultaneously
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Proven track record of quality construction work
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Skilled with Microsoft Office suite
