Teriyaki Madness is a fast-casual Asian concept satisfying guests with damn delicious, huge, made-to-order teriyaki bowls customized with all-natural, fresh ingredients and 7 house-made flavorful sauces. We serve delicious bowls that also happen to be healthy, but warning… they’re highly addictive.
Job summary: Be responsible for the operations and results of a district for Teriyaki Madness restaurants in Chicago suburbs. Maintain the highest levels of integrity. Be a role model for the team.
Work Environment: Teriyaki Madness Restaurants, your home office – drive between restaurants
Essential Functions:
Lead - Ensure that others are inspired to learn more, do more and become more.
- Be the leader that you want your managers to be
- Address issues in the district with respect, empathy and strength

Staff - Make sure that all units have the appropriate levels of trained staff
- Determine your ideal and actual staffing levels
- Build and execute staffing plans per restaurant with manager
- Hire management level personnel
- Discipline management level personnel
- Ensure that managers are following the proper discipline process with their teams
Develop - Make sure that the team in your district has the training and capability to succeed at their job.
- Build and execute training plans per restaurant
- Have a development plan for all the managers in the District
Execute - Ensure that units are executing Brand and Business systems to a high level of excellence and according to standard and policies
- Have a clearly defined process to follow-up
- Document and clearly communicate any opportunities
Maintain - Ensure that equipment and buildings in the district are clean and in good working order
- Make sure that Maintenance logs are in use and taken care of in a timely basis
- Follow company policy on R&M expense approvals
Market - Own the Local Store Marketing (LSM) efforts in the District
- Co-Create LSM plan with Unit Managers
- To reach out to the local community to find opportunities to integrate and participate
- Propose to franchisee ideas for LSM
Collaborate -To accomplish the company’s objectives and mission
- With your Restaurant Managers
- With the above store team
- With vendors and service providers
- Work with training unit to assist in Manager training
- Ensure that staff is properly trained by Management team
- Ensure that Training Checklists are executed with all team members
Plan – Utilize all information and resources available to create an effective daily/weekly plan to achieve strategic and financial results in all units
- Review and analyze reports
- Prioritize actions

- Participate on Annual Business plan
- Develop and execute a District plan by unit and by Unit Leader
- Report updates, outcomes, challenges and needs
Direct Responsibilities at District Level:
- Sales growth - Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
- Product & Labor Cost control
- Staff (levels, turnover, training & morale)
- Speed & quality of Service
- Customer Feedback Report performance (SMG)
- Health Inspection compliance & Brand Standards met (Brand Audit) - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Conduct structured unit visits – submit at least one visit evaluation form per unit per week.
- Employee feedback survey
- RESULTS REPORTING – Daily follow-up with units
- Document every store visit and provide feedback to Manager
- Cover shifts when needed (missing GM or emergencies)
- Oversee and manage multiple district locations, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide leadership and guidance to managers and their teams
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans
- Conduct regular meetings with managers to review performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and profit loss analysis for the district
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across the district
Schedule Requirements: Min 50 hours p/week – 5-6 days p/week
- Work at least 2 nights and one weekend day/night
- Visit stores at least 2x per week per store
- No less than 4 hours per restaurant visit
- Submit weekly schedule plan by Monday – Send it by Tuesday

- Experience in process improvement methodologies to streamline operations
Necessary Skills:
- Always on communication with management & owners
- Must be able to work on the computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Computer use, MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT), email, restaurant POS, Scheduling software and other necessary to execute the job.
