This fast-growing distribution company is hiring immediately for full-time Gate Operators. Their local facility processes inbound and outbound freight for one of America’s favorite retail stores, and in this role you'll be checking CDL drivers in and out of their facility.
This is a seasonal position for at least 6 months, but they offer employees the opportunity to be hired permanently and grow from gate operators into roles like inventory auditors, yard hostlers, shift leads, and more!
Gate Operator Job Duties:
- Meet incoming and outgoing drivers at the facility controlled access point
- Log vehicle, driver, container, and load information
- Tag containers, complete necessary paperwork, and process driver tickets
- Other general yard duties as needed
You’ll be successful in this role if you love to be active on the job, work both inside and outside during your shift, and are eager to learn and develop new skills.
Schedule: 4/12's with three consecutive days off a week
- Day shift: 6:00am-6:00pm Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday
Entry Level Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- Able to use electronic devices, like computer or tablet
- Reliable transportation to get you to the job site – it has no bus access
- Previous customer service, security, or scalehouse experience is a plus
- Must be okay working outdoors in the elements, most areas of the facility are uncovered
Pay: $22/hr
