What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sous Chef position at Terroir Tribeca?
Terroir Restaurant in the heart of Tribeca is currently looking for a sous chef. At Terroir, local and sustainable produce and products fuel our menu creation. Highly seasonal and with a constantly changing menu, Chef Bryce Sorem, takes inspiration from all over the world to create a fun and boundry pushing menu. The Sous Chef at Terroir will be responsible for the following:
Day to day operations to fulfill menu directives
Ordering
Inventory
Assisting in menu creation
Managing a team of cooks and porters
Take control of kitchen and Chef de Cusine duties when the Chef is not in the restaurant
Helping create event and special occasion menus with chef
Union Square market runs
