Your Opportunity
Glumac is seeking a BIM Manager. A remote or hybrid work environment is available to staff that can demonstrate good communication, quality, and accountability across their work products and efforts. The office is always available for those that desire an in-office environment full-time.
Your Impact
This role will entail:
- Supervise 1 to 10 other production staff, including BIM Coordinators and BIM Managers.
- Participate in weekly meetings with other BIM Managers to assess staff workload levels and assist in balancing workload across teams, offices, and regions.
- Participate in monthly BIM Production Development meetings helping to define priority goals and accepting assignments related to achieving company BIM priority goals.
- Evaluate and monitor staff adherence to currently established standards and procedures.
- Work with leaders to provide local or corporate training as appropriate to staff needs.
- Create and update documentation of company standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and update company BIM templates, families, details, calculations, training plans, and other customizations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools for applicability in furthering company BIM goals.
- Review and modify project BIM Execution Plans as part of project proposals and project coordination.
- Communicate company BIM status, goals, and updates to appropriate management and staff.
- Assist with BIM Coordinator responsibilities as needed, including:
- Set up and maintain projects including views, sheets, templates, filters, etc. to adhere to company and client standards.
- Troubleshoot project production and design challenges that arise.
- Oversee plotting and exporting exercises and manage the plot and export settings.
- Perform QC review of BIM files for efficiency, accuracy, and conformance with contracts.
- Communicate and collaborate with clients under direction of the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Attend client BIM meetings as needed.
- Participate in coordination meetings to resolve model clashes.
What You Bring – Qualifications

- 5-10 years experience working in the industry with an in-depth knowledge of the Autodesk Revit software in a similar role.
- Understanding of how the BIM process applies from start to finish for an MEP project.
- Experience generating Revit families and project standards.
- Ability to communicate technical subject matter to team members and Clients.
- Experience generating new solutions to solve BIM problems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Revit API programming experience is preferred but not required.
