Salary range: $60,000-$80,000 (DOE)

Special consideration for any individual with prior freight experience, or any heavy accounting experience in general!

Role and Responsibilities:

• Just come to work and check your personal problems at the door.
• Have fun and look at each day as a riddle.
• TSA STA Compliance.
• IFTA filing.
• New account setup.
• Manage customer claims.
• Maintain company certificate renewals.
• Knowledge of tax 1120.
• Manage 401k audit.
• Bank account reconciliation.
• Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry best practices

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Backgrounds in Accounting and Quickbooks is a major plus!
• Proven experience in compliance, preferably in fields such as DOT and TSA
• Strong computer proficiency: keyboarding at 60 wpm
• Strong Microsoft Suite experience [Excel, Outlook]
• Clear, precise communication skills with good customer relations
• Proficient verbal and written skills
• Proficient phone etiquette
• Strong multi-tasking ability
• Strong work ethic (punctuality and dependability)
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Business/Office professional conduct
• Knowledge of Crown Data Systems is a plus

Qualifications and Education Requirements for Maximum pay:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years’ compliance experience in the logistics industry
• Must pass all background checks
• Knowledge of Crown Data Systems is a plus
• Very dependable
• Lives within 30 min from Grapevine
• Lives a healthy lifestyle.
