What we want The Program Manager, under direction, plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities; develops and implements procedures for collecting, analyzing, and managing various data sets for strategic planning, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement. This role collects information related to academic analytics, faculty activity, research, admissions, funding, and staffing. What you need to know Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience. Other Requirements and Factors: Ability to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by driving and/or flying on commercial airlines. This position may require periodic travel to other campuses and sites. This is an in-person position located in Bryan, Texas. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor' s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Five years of experience related to medical school or higher education work experience, working with faculty, staff, students, and administrators, project coordination, project management, assessment and evaluation experience, survey building and distribution, data analysis, data management, report generation and presenting data, data visualization, experience conducting training, teaching (K-12) could also be related experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others Skilled in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Assessment and Evaluation, Quantitative Psychology, Educational Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Quantitative Methods, or a similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Two years of experience including design, implementation, and data management methodologies appropriate for educational evaluation and research Experience working with and analyzing data in academic or medical settings Demonstrated ability to prepare and present both written and oral reports Demonstrated skill in communicating evaluation results to different audiences Experience with data analysis using quantitative data, with demonstrated proficiency in data management and analytic software (e.g. SPSS, Atlas.ti, Python, SQL, etc.); Management of educational and statistical software (e.g. learning management system, evaluation programs, SPSS, Academic Analytics, etc.) • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Accreditation experience Medical education experience Higher education experience Ability to successfully direct multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Uncompromising attention to accuracy and detail with the ability to work independently and effectively with faculty, staff, and students Responsibilities: Academic Analytics: Plans, organizes, directs, maintains and manages the academic analytics program Manages software (e.g., ensures data accuracy, troubleshoots technical issues). Develops and provides training to faculty and other stakeholders on utilizing the platform effectively. Maintains and develops communication between stakeholders by attending meetings and conference calls. Assists faculty administrators in exploring their scholarly activity data and generating reports. Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends and insights related to faculty teaching, research, and service. Medical School Data Management: Collects, cleans, and maintains accurate data on various aspects of the medical school, including: Admissions (e.g., applicant pool, demographics, enrollment statistics), Federal funding (e.g., grant awards, expenditures), Research (e.g., number of active researchers, research activity), Faculty and Staff (e.g., personnel numbers, demographics, turnover rates) Develops and maintains data quality standards and procedures. Data Analysis & Reporting: Generates reports and dashboards to visualize medical school data. Performs data analysis. Provides data and writes reports to assist with strategic planning, goals, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement. Supports leadership in making data-driven decisions regarding various aspects (i.e. budgets, contracts, etc.) of the medical school. Researches, develops, and conducts presentations including leadership training, conferences, and workshops. Performs other duties as assigned.
