As a Scrum Master on the Consumer and Marketing Technology team, you will be identifying and implementing Agile best practices in a SAFe Agile model. You will partner and align with business and platform owners across Marketing, Digital Experience, Branch Banking, and Financial Crimes compliance teams as well as technical partners from all levels of the organization as we navigate our digital transformation. The person who fills this role will need to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Working with a team implementing cloud-native solutions, the scrum master will prioritize the backlog across multiple teams while advocating and driving an agile transformation.
Responsibilities
- Arrange for daily stand-up meetings, facilitate, and schedule meetings, demo and follow local scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective, etc.)
- Properly manage the backlog and aid team in determining suitable commitments for product backlog items and sprints
- Create a positive and easy communication channel (team, product owner, stakeholders) following project manager direction.
- Address team dynamics resolve conflict and resource constraints
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to coach and support team members with limited experience in Agile/ Scrum.
- Good executive level communication skills to provide high-level Agile KPI debriefs.

Qualifications
- 5 years of Agile delivery experience / recent hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
- Additional experience working on waterfall projects is highly preferred
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified or Professional Scrum Trainer (CST, PST)
- Experience with Infrastructure teams with an understanding of development and quality disciplines.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar as a tool to assist scrum team efficiency
- Proficient in agile/scrum development methodology
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively respond to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Demonstrated track record of consistently fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, continuous improvement, customer service and project delivery excellence characterized by professional respect for every level of project team, selfless dedication to the success of project teams, and leadership behavior that encourages others to go above and beyond.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence and establish positive working relationships across all levels of throughout the organization
- Detail-oriented with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of the Banking industry/ Financial sector
- Experience with Core Banking technology, or applications such as Online Banking, is highly advantageous
