What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Tech, PRN position at Texas Health Joint Ventures?
Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and accurate performance, validation and reporting of all STAT and routine laboratory results for all departments. Experience in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, Blood Bank, urinalysis, and point of care testing preferred. Must be comfortable working independently and in cooperating with other members of the patient care team to provide positive outcomes. Shall be willing to train and assess competency of other lab users.
Qualifications: Minimum of an Associates’ Degree in Life Sciences and 3 years of general laboratory experience, ASCP or AMT certified.
Applicant must have prior blood bank experience.
