Seeking a skilled Health Information and Privacy Supervisor. Is that you?
Work location: 9520 Amberton Parkway, Dallas TX 75243. - In office on Tuesdays, Other days remote.
Work hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree Health related field. Prefer: Health Information Management is required.
- 4 Years in progressive management responsibility in health care including experience in compliance and health care including privacy regulations, policies and procedures is required.
- RHIA - Registered Health Information Administrator Or related certifications preferred. Upon Hire is preferred.
- CHPC is a plus
What You Will Do
- Operations: Plan, organize, and delegate activities as required for the safe, efficient, and effective operations of the medical records department including active participation with clinic and physician offices and leadership staff to accomplish this objective.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, and standards that direct operations.
- Actively incorporate measures to obtain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and requirements. Oversee vendors and perform quality checks.
- Serve as THPG Privacy Officer, THPG Liaisons with the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), the HIPAA regulatory agency, in connection with HIPAA Privacy issues. Implement Privacy Policies and program for THPG.
- Quarterly reports to THR Privacy Officer and THPG Compliance Officer.
- Strategic Planning: Establish priorities for department growth and enhancement based on customer need, research findings, and industry trends. Effectively market the service to key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain internal privacy resources and tools. Conduct compliance monitoring walkthroughs and Policy training requirements. Collaborate with directors to maintain organizational privacy compliance.
- Satisfaction: Collaborate with all customer groups (patients, department staff, physicians, clinical staff, and other customer groups) to meet and exceed needs/expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain knowledge of current and emerging regulatory requirements, standards, industry trends, and pertinent issues.
- Professional Accountability: Participates in change and seeks opportunities for professional and personal growth.
- Fiscal Management: In collaboration with Vendor Management and Department management determine the appropriate resources for record management.
- Regularly communicate with staff employees as appropriate regarding goals, results, and future direction.
- Advocate for appropriate resources to accomplish Department and Organization goals.
