Data Integration Architect II: design, model, create, maintain, and perform data warehouse data architecture that supports business intelligence reporting and analytic solutions; provide technical support to Business, Analysts, BI Specialists and SMEs to design and refine data architecture solutions using data modeling methodologies and data modeling tools, including IDA/ER Studio, FastTrack, data governance tools, SQL, and other technologies; provide recommendations for data architecture tools and data architecture technology standards; provide technical assistance to other architects with regard to design reviews and provide feedback on performance, scalability, and adherence to standards; serve as liaison with Business, Analysts, BI team, ETL team, QA team, Application Teams and other stakeholders to design data models, map data movement from source to target, create tables needed, and implement production Data Architectural solutions that are fully integrated into the Enterprise Data Warehouse; lead the project, along with business sponsors, SMES and application teams to ensure understanding of business requirements and technical needs; analyze, profile, and assess availability, quality, and lineage of source system data; design data architecture solutions including data repositories, mappings, and storage solutions to meet business needs; and provide technical support for production data architecture objects and utilize tools to manage source system changes, optimize application, and ensure availability, accuracy, security, and acceptable performance.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or a closely-related field.
Work Experience Requirements: Six (6) years of progressive professional work experience in data modeling, architecture, or analysis including experience with data warehouse data modeling methodologies such as Kimball and Inmon; business requirements validation; data architecture and storage conceptualization; root cause analysis and solutions presentations; identification, definition, and design of data source/content and data flows; data quality profiling and analysis; source to target mapping; data model performance and quality assurance; InfoSphere Data Architecture/ER Studio and FastTrack; data governance tools or equivalent data architecture-related software; relational databases and using SQL to query, create tables, views, indexes, joins, user defined functions, and stored procedures; and SDLC, ITSM, and privacy and security processes and policies.
