Position Title: RN Manager of Critical Care Services
- Location: Anchorage, AK
- Compensation: $87,339 - $130,998 annually Incentive Bonus up to 15% $10K Sign-On Bonus
- Schedule: Full-Time, No Weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day functions of the critical care unit, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage complex patient cases and optimize throughput.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment that enhances staff satisfaction and patient care.
- Delegate tasks based on staff strengths and needs, and identify areas for professional development.
- Manage compliance with financial metrics and support hospital-wide initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships within the unit and across other departments.
- Current RN license in Alaska or eligibility to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in a program with completion within 12 months.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year of Critical Care experience, including at least two years in open-heart recovery.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and propose solutions.
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 4:1
- Number of Beds in Unit: 16
- Unit Staff: Approximately 35 RNs and PCTs
