Texas Oncology is looking for a Pharmacy/Lab Courierto join our team! This position will support the Longview, TX. Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country and has approximately 600 providers in 220 sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. Our founders pioneered community-based cancer care because they believed in making the best available cancer care accessible to all communities, allowing people to fight cancer at home with the critical support of family and friends nearby. What does the Courier do?
The Courier, under minimal supervision, provides courier services to and from company facilities and other establishments to expedite the delivery of materials. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
The essential duties and responsibilities:
- Completes all scheduled trips in accordance with established time schedules.
- Delivers clinic material, picks up supplies and mail, and distributes to appropriate destinations.
- Runs errands for the clinic as requested.
- Maintains delivery logs and files on courier activities and vehicle maintenance.
- Performs other clerical or administrative duties as requested.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Courier will have the following background and experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- This position is entry level and requires 0-3 years office experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Valid state drivers license.
