Job Summary
The outside sales person is integral to cultivating new customers for the company, as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers. The role includes introducing the company to decision makers, introducing new products and helping customers with questions pertinent to the welding industry as well as the medical gas business.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include pursuing new business for Texas Welding Supply, maintaining a weekly schedule with higher volume clients, sales calls at the request of the customer or from a lead from various sources. Also cold calls will be required. Inside sales will also be required at various times, including some Saturdays.
Qualifications and Skills
The sales representative should understand the welding industry, welding applications, industrial gases and medical gases. Sales experience in either inside or outside sales is a plus. A high school diploma is preferred. Some college or technical school is a plus. Must be well organized, outgoing and friendly.
Benefits
Medical insurance is provided to the employee by the company. One week of vacation is acquired after one year of service. Two weeks vacation allowed after three years of employment. All major holidays are observed by the company.
