As a Digital Sales Manager for the North America Sales team located in New York, NY, Austin, TX, or remote, you will be responsible for developing customer relationships in the sales cycle and closing deals. You will understand customer needs, align those needs with the Thales Banking and Payment digital offerings, and complete sales.
You will communicate with colleagues on field marketing, product development, and R&D. These departments continually apprise Digital Sales Managers on new or planned products, features, technical issues, advertising campaigns and promotions. In return, you will inform product development and field marketing personnel about evolving customer preferences, complaints and needs, and the status of competitors’ efforts and trends in the overall digital banking and payment security marketplace.
A week in the life of a Sales Manager:
- You will close deals directly by yourself by providing solution demonstrations that are both standard and tailored to suspects and prospects.
- You will have the support of technical pre-sales, field marketing, and product management for complex deals and Proof of concepts (POC’s).
- You will provide technological guidance to new and potential customers.
- You will respond in writing to customer requirements as well as request for information and proposal documents.
- You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Thales Assurance Hub offerings, Ezio Authentication SaaS and on premise offering.
- You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of the general online transactional risk and fraud management offerings and methods.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- To succeed at this job, you must have: the ability to work well in a geographically dispersed team environment, while exhibiting a positive and professional attitude; an open mind with entrepreneurial attitude, the ability to translate technical features into tangible customer business benefits, and the passion for ‘starting up’ and participating to the development of new ideas and concepts.
- It would be preferred if you have the ability to spot sensible, effective, least risky, least complex solutions; the knowledge of fraud trends and investigations for financial services, knowledge on security analytics tools (RSA, Symantec, NICE, 41st Parameter, Trusteer, ThreatMetrix), and knowledge of SAAS or on premise authentication trends and solutions (Early Warning, InAuth, Daon, CA, RSA, and Trasmit Security).
- You must be fluent in English.
- We would like someone to join our team who is a good analytical thinker, has good troubleshooting skills, an excellent written and verbal communicator, detail-oriented, has leadership skills, self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to perform well under pressure.
- You must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
- We are looking for someone with 4 to 8 years of experience in a sales position.
