JOB SUMMARY
Account Managers are problem solvers – everyday striving to overcome both strategic and situational challenges. S/he is involved in leading a client’s business toward desired results. To be effective in their role, the Account Manager needs to be thoughtful and creative in working with team members to provide the right ongoing direction and inspiration. Keeping projects on-time, on-budget and on-point is a primary focus of the Account Manager. The Account Manager understands when to involve the appropriate team members and how to effectively prioritize and delegate assignments. They build a collaborative relationship with agency talent and, after a project direction is set, provide ongoing inspiration, direction, and information to ensure a quality outcome.

• Communicate clearly and professionally through spoken and written communication. Discerns the appropriate channel for communications, especially opportunities to deliver information in-person or over the phone.

• Is a good listener and provides thoughtful consultation and input.
• Is a great presenter, can confidently lead client presentations.
• Skilled at proactively recognizing opportunities and asking for the work.
• Develops estimates and budgets, project plans and timelines including contributing to the creation of creative briefs and proposals.

• Ensures client and internal teams remain focused on clearly defined objectives and the actions required to drive desired outcomes. Is an active contributor to the strategic direction of marketing initiatives.
• Accountable for the preparation of a variety of client deliverables. These may include client progress reporting (status reports), monthly billing, budget reporting, client presentations, competitive reports, industry insights, etc.
• Possesses a hunger to know more about our industry, our clients’ industries, and how they can do their job better.
• Plays a critical role in maintaining the fiscal health of client partnerships.
CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
• 6 years of relevant work experience
• Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
• Understands the components of marketing communications and advertising fundamentals
• High emotional intelligence
• Highly organized
• Goal and solutions oriented.
• Strong organizational, workflow and time management skills.
• Highly reliable, accountable, and resourceful
• Critical thinking and solutions oriented
• Financial acumen
