Position Summary:
The Program and Chapter Team Associate provides general and administrative support to The Arc's National Program Initiative and Chapter Relations staff. The Arc's National Initiatives include criminal justice, education, employment, future planning, health, technology, travel, and volunteering. The Chapter Relations staff support our network of over 550 state and local chapters. The Chapter Program Associate assists, as needed, with meeting and training logistics, meeting facilitation and notetaking, record keeping, database management, reporting, and program evaluation
.
The Chapter Program Associate may work across multiple subjects and teams, requiring excellent organization, multi-tasking, and communication skills. The position is hybrid - the successful candidate can split their time between remote and in-office work in Washington, D
C.

Qualificat

The Arc is the largest national community-based organization working with and for people with IDD and their families. The Arc supports people with IDD of all ages and varying support needs, including individuals with autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Intellectual Disability, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and various other developmental
disabilities.
Many of The Arc's state and local chapters are engaged in both public policy advocacy and individual advocacy to assist people with IDD to get the services and supports they need. Other chapters provide a wide array of services and supports for people with IDD and their families.
