Administrative Assistant
Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur – Windsor, CT
The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur have an opening for a full-time administrative assistant who will provide support to the Leadership Team member(s) and the E/W Finance department at the Windsor financial offices, in addition to helping with special projects as needed, as well as regular tasks that occur on a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual basis.
Duties and responsibilities duties will include providing administrative support to the leadership team member(s), finance office, and executive assistant. Duties and responsibilities include scheduling Zoom meetings, minutes for meetings, mail distribution, file maintenance and general administrative duties as assigned (using Excel, PPT & Word).
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and secretarial work experience equivalent, is preferred. A knowledge of QuickBooks Online, excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, creativity, and ability to design flyers, invitations, pamphlets, is preferred.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to gain understanding of the internal language and mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame De Namur and the willingness to participate in staff orientation and sponsorship programs.
