Description: The Account Manager is a business “creator” and accountable for the successful revenue and gross profit growth of the organization within a fixed geographic region. The Account Manager will work to understand customer needs and develop relationships with key decision makers. Once a customer need develops into a sales opportunity the Account Manager would be responsible for driving/leading the sales pursuit utilizing the company Selling Methodologies. The Account Manager must exhibit high sales ambition and be willing to burden the majority of the sales strategy development and execution with leverage of the Account Manager’s customer organizational knowledge. The Account Manager should be an expert in being able to differentiate our technology and services against our competition and be able to obtain the recognized value we deliver from our customers. Our customers are largely manufacturing facilities and Upstream Oil & Gas. We serve many different industries including chemical, power generation, refining, oil & gas, food & beverage, pulp & paper, and water. This role will be based in Wichita, KS with a territory that stretches to Western, KS.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Sales experience consisting of complex, solutions-based opportunities
  • Functional Knowledge of CRM reporting systems
  • Power Generation knowledge
  • Ability to:
  • Create and implement a sales strategy
  • Champion new ideas

 

Job Type: Direct Hire

 

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (will work 1-2 days in office per week, travel remaining week - mostly day travel, very limited overnight)
