General Purpose of the Position:
Serve as an Atlantic Club employee, upholding the vision and mission statements of The Atlantic Club and fostering a club environment that promotes the highest level of safety, cleanliness/sanitization, efficiency, and customer service for all TAC employees, members, and guests. Essential job duties include generate revenue through honest and enthusiastic Membership sales and service by creating profitable relationships in an assigned territory of the community. Focus on Wellness, Relationships, Membership, and Programs.
Departmental Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate new sales leads through prospecting -- 2 new corporate/group accounts per month; continue to work current leads, Member referrals, old leads, etc. You are expected to make a minimum of 75 phone calls per day and have a minimum of 5 appointments/presentations per day either in or out of the club. Continuously pursue new business development.
- Research, develop and conduct effective presentations for the prospects in your assigned territory by drilling down and knowing their business and how TAC can offer solutions to their issues.
- Use technology and business systems to manage prospects, track sales, develop and present effective presentations. CSI and Constant Contact will track.
- Provide effective membership tours to prospective Members and Guests, determining their needs, wants and value points; matching those needs and wants with the results we can offer.
- 100% of all new members have an Aspirations Fitness Assessment.
- Manage Members/cases and communicate with company contact to maximize an ongoing relationship. For global accounts, recognize that we serve two parties: the Member and the decision maker at the company.
- Follow up with those who don't join on the first visit within 24 hours by phone and email/text/written correspondence. Continue follow up to shorten the sales cycle.
- Make approximately 46 correspondences per day (phone, email, text messages) to current Members to stay in touch with your members, invite them to club functions and apprise them of relevant club programs via your VIP Club. Additionally, create and host monthly events for your members that address their needs. You are expected to have an attendance of 10-15 Members at these events.
- Listen to trainings and read relevant sales materials, as well as attend, and participate in, weekly sales meetings to enhance performance. Complete Sales training program and regularly complete online training modules and webinars. Stay current in business and sales trends.
- Meet and exceed established monthly goals to maintain employment. Goals are both in membership and non-dues programs. If you miss your goals in any three months through a 12-month period, you may be terminated or at minimum taken off the up system.
- Wellness Coordinators are responsible for selling programs to the membership base, as well as junior memberships, trial, and summer memberships.
- Complete all membership contracts, waivers and paperwork accurately and promptly submit for processing. Agreements must be complete; non-complete Agreements will not be paid until the Agreement is complete.
- Complete membership sales reports accurately and submit on a weekly basis. You are expected to utilize your sales reports to accurately manage your business by the numbers so that we, as a club, can accurately manage the business by the numbers.
- While in the club connect with the Members with your required SBWA twice per day for 15 minutes to serve the primary and secondary purposes.
- Integrate with your assigned department’s staff to maximize co-worker relationships and membership sales opportunities.
- Attend all assigned TAC events, parties, and monthly social functions.
- Participate and assist in the planning and implementation of all promotions.
- Work the schedule that’s required to achieve goals. Always work the last three days of each month. All requests for time off must be submitted for approval in advance.
- Complete all required training. Attend and actively participate in trainings and regular staff meetings.
- Protect confidentiality of all Club data and member/client information
- Manage an assigned membership base (retention, relationships with members, new member sales and non-dues wellness programs).
- Other duties as required.
