Loan Specialist
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create Non-Real Estate secured Loan Documents for all branches
- Create Change In Terms Agreements for all loans including Real Estate
- Work with eSign and Adobe Sign for eSign of loan documentation
- Upload non-real estate loans on JHA core system
- Create AFT setups on loan core system
- Prepare funding entries for new and renewed loans
- Post loan payments and process loan advance requests
- Work with JackHenry Enterprise Workflows
- Update loans on JHA core system when changes are needed
- Prepare Loan Payoff Quotes / Verification of Deposit Account / Credit Verification requests
- Review daily loan reconciliation for exception items that need to be worked
- Process Monthly Credit Life Insurance & Gap Coverage Billings
- Proofread images on Synergy/Work various document tracking reports
- File and maintain loan documents for retention purposes
- Receive incoming phone calls from internal and external customers
- Make outgoing phone calls to internal and external customers
- Correspond by email, mail and phone with customers as needed
- Timely Completion of various annual online training sessions as assigned for compliance adherence
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in addition to adherence with all bank policies and procedures including but not limited to BSA-AML
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with mailing for loan notices as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE
- Credit in good standing
- High school diploma / equivalency required
- At least 2 years of general full-time work experience
- Previous loan experience
- Knowledge of loan documentation
- Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in written form
- Computer literacy and Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Typing (40 WPM) and 10-key by touch
- Self-starter, organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to work for extended periods of time using a computer
PREFERRED SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE
- Working Knowledge of Jack Henry Software
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Demonstrate at all times Character, Confidence, Competence, Courtesy and Confidentiality
