Our Head Bartender has a passion for cocktails and learning about the newest way to master their craft. They have creativity coursing through their veins and are a leader in the industry. Description:
· Candidate must have 3yrs of bartending experience and strong knowledge of all classic cocktails
- Trains staff in all aspects of bar operations, equipment utilization, portion control, correct builds and presentation
- Ability to fabricate beverage ingredients and garnishes efficiently
- Ability to perform and instruct on proper bartending techniques
- Understands beverage cost and cost reports
- Maintains and updates beverage menus and updates POS accordingly
- Leads in development and creation of beverage menus
- Inspects stations for quality of ingredients and health code compliance
- Supervises regular cleaning and maintenance of bars
- Works with managers to maintain compliance with health department requirements of food safety and staff hygiene
- Maintains inventory of spirits, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and glassware
- Assists with purchasing, receiving and vendor relations
- Promotes and enforces alcohol serving regulations
- Plans, schedules, reviews and evaluates assigned staff
· Maintain knowledge on classic cocktails, house cocktail, liquor brands, wine, champagne, beers and non-alcoholic selections
· Performs opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the setup and break down of stations, side‐work, clearing tables and re‐setting tables
· Participate in teamwork and assist other departments when needed
