INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
Blue Water Workamper program is available at participating Blue Water properties throughout the Blue Water portfolio. Contingent upon location and completion of the agreement, Blue Water provides free on-site accommodations. Those accommodations at this property include a private room with shared communal kitchen and bathroom, plus free usage of utilities and amenities (per workcamper agreement). All hours worked are paid, and a potential for the end of agreement bonus. Hourly rate varies depending on state and experience.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for Workcampers with campground/hotel experience.
Someone who works independently and as part of a team can work on demand, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in providing exceptional guest services.

- Workamping opportunities in the following departments:
- Housekeeping
- Grounds/Maintenance
- Front Desk/Guest Service
- Camp Post/Security
- Recreation/Activities
- Cafe/Retail
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Workcamper will report to the General Manager
WHAT YOU BRING
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and friendly when confronted with upset visitors or problems
- The ability to be on your feet, ride a bike and/or drive a golf cart and move around freely with guests
- Ability to work positively with other campground employees and other staff members
- Support all company policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee frequently is required to climb or balance
- The employee is occasionally required to talk or listen. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift and move up to fifty pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
